Is my video stored or sent anywhere?

No! All processing happens locally in your browser using Whisper AI (Transformers.js). Your video never leaves your device - we never see, store, or transmit any of your files.
How long does transcription take?

The first time takes 1-2 minutes to download the AI model (~75MB). After that, processing is about 1x real-time (5 min video ≈ 5 min processing). The model is cached in your browser.
What video formats are supported?

We support MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI for video and MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG for audio. Most common formats work perfectly.
What subtitle formats can I export?

You can export subtitles as SRT (SubRip), VTT (WebVTT), or TXT (plain text). SRT is the most compatible format for most video players and YouTube.
Can I edit the subtitles after generation?
